About the League:

Wembley – the home of English football and the national stadium helped give the world the beautiful game. Now it is giving another great gift to our children.

The Wembley Football League (WFL) is the first of its kind for young people in the London Borough of Brent, and will allow children to play and enjoy football in the heart of the community. The WFL also aims to bring together different communities and celebrate our diverse cultures. 

Funded by the Wembley National Stadium Trust (WNST), the WFL will feature:

(1) Football matches for U10 and U13 teams

(2) U10 will play 7v7 matches every week. U13 will play 11v11 alternate weeks

(3) All games will be played at Ark Elvin Academy, Cecil Avenue, Wembley from April – July

(4) All matches will be played on Saturday. Kick-Off 10am or 11am for U10 and 12pm or 1pm for U13

(5) All matches will be  officiated by Middlesex FA referees, including 2 x linesman for the U13 matches

(6) Every player taking part in the competition will receive a medal and hospitality on the last day of the season

(7) The winners from the U10 and U13 age groups will get to play against QPR

(8) Opportunities for Talent ID with Queens Park Rangers FC – the official partner club for the league. Last season 5 players from the Wembley Football League were selected for QPR’s Advance Development Programme (ADP), which is the precursor to joining its football academy.
